Meiyume x RetailNext Partnership

partnership consumer journey retail

Meiyume and RetailNext have partnered to provide retailers with a one-stop shop for tracking consumer behavior and analytics at the point-of-sale display or in their directly owned retail shop.

January 2021 – Meiyume is pleased to announce its partnership with RetailNext, a pioneer in traffic analytics solutions for brick-and-mortar retailers. More than 450 retailers in over 90 countries have adopted RetailNext’s analytics solutions, which include advanced traffic counting measures, asset protection, and real-time occupancy monitoring.

Already a provider of digital signage, consumer demographics analysis, display traffic analytics, and product interaction tracking, Meiyume is expanding its IoT capabilities to include full store traffic and customer path analytics. By leveraging the RetailNext hardware and AI software, Meiyume can help its clients track the full path of each customer in the store, which product categories they visit, how long they dwell, and whether their journey leads to a sale.

Meiyume has already begun implementing RetailNext’s traffic analytics and occupancy monitoring solutions for some of its clients and is excited about the opportunities ahead as more and more brands seek to measure how consumers shop in brick-and-mortar.

“I’ve worked with RetailNext for a number of years, so I know their solutions quite well,” said Robert Brockman, General Manager for Meiyume Retail Solutions. “I’m impressed by their recent innovations and excited we can start offering them to our clients, particularly in Beauty, where the path to purchase is often non-linear due to multiple product categories. RetailNext’s solutions will help our clients easily map these paths to purchase, to aid in better visual merchandising and store planning decisions.”

Data collected from the RetailNext solution will be consolidated into Meiyume’s unified insights dashboard, providing clients with a one-stop shop for tracking consumer behavior and analytics at the point-of-sale display or in their directly owned retail shop.

“We’re very excited about our partnership with Meiyume which not only signifies the strong foothold of RetailNext in the beauty space but also opens up new opportunities for both sides in other segments and regions”, said Gonzalo de Caralt, global Head of Partnerships at RetailNext.
